Café

Em Oi! was born from a simple dream to bring the true taste of Vietnam to the heart of Oslo. Founded by two passionate coffee lovers with Vietnamese roots, we wanted to create more than just a café. We wanted to build a place where cultures meet, where every cup tells a story, and where you can feel the warmth of Vietnam no matter where you are.

Build with a love for Vietnamese coffee

Everything started with a love for Vietnamese coffee  the kind you find on the streets of Saigon at sunrise, served in a small glass with sweetened condensed milk and a phin filter slowly dripping. We grew up with these flavours and wanted to share them with Oslo. So we did.

What Makes Us Different

"Em ơi đi Cà phê nhé"

All our coffee is imported directly from Vietnam, authentic Arabica and Robusta beans grown in the highlands of Vietnam. We brew every cup with traditional Vietnamese methods, using the iconic phin filter, and serve classics like cà phê trứng (egg coffee), cà phê muối (salt coffee) and cà phê dừa (coconut coffee) alongside our own signature drinks inspired by Vietnamese flavours. Our food menu is built on family recipes passed down through generations, from bánh mì and phở to homemade wontons and Vietnamese pastries. Everything is made fresh, with love.
